Dear Scout Camper,

This is the first of several emails that you will receive before the 2024 Vancouver Island Scouts Summer Camp. Each email will have things you need to know, important announcements and tips to get you ready for Camp. We're here to answer your questions, so use the links on the website or in the contact section of this email to get in touch.

Making Payments

1 April - Deposit of $100 Paid
1 July - Balance Paid

All scout camp fees must be paid in full by July 1st, 2024 unless other arrangements have been made.

If you would like to make payments towards your camp balance (the cost is $350 + GST this year), please log into the Camper Dashboard by clicking here. You can specify the amount you would like to remit through the payment screens and also find a lot of important information relating to camp.

Key Dates

1 July - Final Payment Due
15 July - Out Trip Signup Deadline
4 August - Campers arrive 9 - 10 am
10 August - Campers depart 6.30 pm

2024 Activity Program

Our team has been busy putting together the 2024 activity program and we are pleased to share it with all of our campers. For 2023, we will be offering the following activities as part of our program:

Activity Registrations

If you haven't signed up for your Out Trip or the additional activities we are offering, please log into your Camper Dashboard using the link above and register. Places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis so make sure to get in early.

Dietary Needs

We want to be able to cater for the dietary needs of our youth and volunteers. To help us, please make sure you complete the Dietary Needs section of the registration form or visit the link in your Camper Dashboard and return it to the Camp Registrar in plenty of time.

What to Bring

Youth are encouraged to bring their own tent, a 2 person tent is preferred. If youth campers want to share a tent, please organise with other campers from your troop before camp.
